What a desperately disappointing day that was. :(


But we will remember Assen as the only weekend in 2009 where Alvaro crashed out of a race and the last time where he was off the podium, en route to his second world championship title, winning it in dominant fashion. ;)

No, really. For some reason I'm suddenly absolutely convinced that he'll completely bust everyone's ass from now on even more, especially after this race. He had his one mistake of the season and he'll be making sure that there are no more.
